The qualification of Ballinalack Community Park, Bunninadden, Co. Sligo for LEADER funding to establish a Hello GoodLife Health & Wellbeing Hub marked a significant milestone in community health development.

This LEADER funding enabled the creation of a dedicated space designed to promote holistic health and well-being for everyone in the community particularly for people over the age of 55.

The transformative hub — made possible through LEADER funding was officially opened by Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill, in May 2025. It represents a new era in how communities across Ireland can support the health and well-being of everyBODY.
